\äh’prees\, exclamation, origin: Armenian

  1. Job well done: “Apris, great work”
  2. Live on: “Apris, good health to you”
  3. Cheers: “Apris” she said, raising her glass

One of the beautiful things about the Armenian culture is how fast friends become family. A partnership between Garen Bagdasarian and Bagdasar Gulian became a family winery that makes us all proud. APRIS has many meanings and interpretations. It is used as a thank you, cheers, job well done, and the literal meaning of “live” on, in good health!

Our fathers Apres Bagdasarian and Mikhail Gulyan were avid winemakers in their day. Although they never met, their sons Garen and Bagdasar carry on the traditions in their homeland. The APRIS team works hard to make you feel at home from the vine to the glass. Enjoy our wonderful wines with your friends and loved ones, old and new.

APRIS!
